Westminster Organist

Jan Snider, a retired English teacher with the Anchorage, Alaska, School District, moved to the area 10 years ago with her husband Ken. A native Oregonian, she graduated from Northwest Nazarene U. and holds a Masters Degree in English Literature from Portland State U. As a teenager she began playing piano for her local church and later served as organist in various churches for many years. She feels privileged to play the organ most Sundays at Westminster Presbyterian and especially appreciates the warm, friendly congregation.

Besides enjoying piano and organ activities, Jan loves to read, garden, travel, play tennis, and has special interests in ancient history and archeology.
