Westminster Preschool Director

Jan Leventon is the Director/Teacher of Westminster Preschool.  She graduated from Linfield College, McMinnville, Oregon with a B.A. in Home Economics/Secondary Education.  She later completed her M. A. in Early Childhood Education at California Lutheran, in Thousand Oaks, CA.  She taught in the College Lab School at Cal Lu for four years and then returned to the State of Washington where she was employed by the Tacoma School District as a teacher in Home Economics, Head Start and Education Coordinator for the Head Start Program.  She has been employed by Westminster Preschool since 2004.

Jan is the mother of two teen age children.  She enjoys reading, antiques, her Airedale Jake and the Washington Old Time Fiddler
