Music has always been an important part of worship at Westminster. We have been fortunate that many who are touched by God with that gift have chosen to serve by singing or playing a variety of instruments.
The Chancel Choir continues its commitment by practicing weekly and singing in worship services twice a month most of the year. Special events that included our participation this year were joining in the Presbytery worship service in November and sharing a song at Ed Minnick’s 90th birthday party. Although we are small in number, we are mighty!
Westminster Bells is an advanced group of ringers who is dedicated to providing the spiritual experience bells can offer. In June we traveled to Newburg, Oregon where we participated in the Area 10 regional handbell festival. In addition to working with internationally known conductors, we attended classes, lots of rehearsals, and performed two concerts for the public. In November, we played for the residents of Stillwater Estates. Finally, the first week of December found us performing our 23rd annual Christmas concerts.
Westminster depends heavily upon our pianist, Carolin Auvil, and organist, Jan Snider. Both are outstanding musicians who give unselfishly of their time and talents.

Modern worship service music
Led by Tim Carr, several instrumentalists, singers, a drummer and a pianist provide the music for the modern worship service each week. They provide enthusiasm and great joy while leading in song.
